Background
Hoda’s work focuses on developing machine learning and deep learning algorithms and platforms for healthcare and neuroinformatic data. Prior to joining the Gabrieli lab, Hoda was a postdoctoral researcher and a Ph.D. student at Florida International University working on computational neuroscience in epilepsy. Her dissertation work was focused on the connectivity analysis of electroencephalography (EEG) signals aiming to enhance the diagnosis and early treatment planning. She has received the NSF young professional award in 2016.
