My primary interest is in language development and how we can improve educational outcomes for children with language and reading disabilities. I am also fascinated by bilingualism and how we can design curricula targeted at maximizing the learning experience for bilingual children as well as analyzing the role of socioeconomic status in learning outcomes for low-income students. Currently, I am coordinating the MIND and RAISE studies.
