Background
Madelynn is a Technical Associate in the Gabrieli Lab, where she utilizes multimodal neuroimaging to investigate potential biomarkers that may predict treatment response to cognitive behavioral therapy in adults with social anxiety disorder. She also contributes to research studying the anxiolytic effects of cannabidiol on social anxiety.
Madelynn is interested in investigating large-scale neural circuit dysfunction in anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as the impact of early life experiences on neurodevelopment. She is particularly passionate about translational research aimed at improving personalized treatments and developing novel interventions.
Outside of the lab, Madelynn enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing, and exploring new restaurants. She plans to pursue a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT, matriculating in Fall 2025.
