Background
Madelynn is a Technical Associate in the Gabrieli Lab, where she uses multimodal neuroimaging to identify biomarkers that predict treatment response to cognitive behavioral therapy in adults with social anxiety disorder. She also contributes to research studying the anxiolytic effects of cannabidiol.
Madelynn’s primary research interests involve exploring neural circuit dysfunction in anxiety and depression and examining how early life experiences influence neurodevelopment. She is particularly passionate about translational research that informs personalized treatments and novel interventions.
Outside the lab, Madelynn enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing, and exploring new restaurants. She plans to pursue a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT, beginning in Fall 2025.
