Background
Omar is a combat veteran focused on understanding the neural mechanisms of PTSD development, assessment, and treatment in veterans and civilians alike using a variety of imaging methods, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG). He is also working on understanding the mechanisms behind non-invasive neurostimulation using low-intensity focused ultrasound.
