Background
Amanda is a PhD student in the Harvard-MIT Program in Speech and Hearing, Bioscience and Technology. She is interested in the development of speech and language skills in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders. She uses behavioral measures, acoustic analyses of speech, and neuroimaging techniques to study the neural and behavioral bases of auditory processing and speech production. She hopes this research will have clinical implications to improve interventions for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
