Background
Steven is a PhD candidate in the Harvard-MIT Program in Speech and Hearing, Bioscience and Technology. He uses multimodal neuroimaging (DWI, fMRI) and behavioral measures to study how brain structure and function relate to reading abilities in children, and how these properties are modulated by educational intervention. He hopes these studies will inform educational strategies for children with reading disabilities, and more broadly elucidate the relationship between brain structure and function.
