Background
Cassia is an MEG (magnetoencephalography) scientist at the Gabrieli and Pantazis labs, with a research focus on the neural correlates of attention, learning, and expertise. Her main goal is to unravel the brain’s learning mechanisms and optimize the learning process, specializing in music and auditory stimuli. Recently, her aspirations have ventured into multimodal neuroimaging methods which integrate neuroanatomy, functional neuroimaging (MEG), and biochemistry (MRS/PET) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex neural landscape.
