Background
Yasaman Bioki’s research interests lie in understanding how the human brain organizes key cognitive functions such as memory, attention, thought, and emotion. She uses a combination of brain imaging and behavioral testing to study the neural mechanisms behind these processes. Specifically, her work at the Gabrieli Lab focuses on the neural basis of craving, impulse control, and decision-making in addiction.
