Background
Alex is a Ph.D. student in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences program at MIT. He is particularly interested in adolescent neuropsychology and the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying anxiety and depression. His work integrates behavioral and neuroimaging approaches to better understand the mental processes and shared factors that contribute to school-related emotional distress. Outside of research, you can find Alex hiking, playing basketball and pickleball, or competing in bar trivia.
