I graduated from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2012 with a PhD in Neuroscience. I am interested in the neural correlates of language processing in both typical and atypical development. In particular, my research has been focusing on the following questions:

1). What are the neural substrates (both hemodynamic and electrophysiological processes) that account for language impairment in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and specific language impairment (SLI)?
2). What are the neurocognitive signatures for the dynamic language learning processes in both children and adults?
3). What are the cognitive and neural predictors for successful second language learning?
