The Gabrieli Lab produces and maintains several software packages for the processing and analysis of neuroimaging data.


NiPype offers a unified interface to a variety of fMRI analysis packages (e.g. FSL, SPM, Freesurfer) and a pipeline functionality for easy integration of these tools. NiPype allows for analysis that is innovative, fast, and easily replicable. NiPype is a collaborative project spread across many labs, including the GabLab.

Artifact Detection Tools

The Artifact Detection Toolbox (ART) provides tools for post-processing fMRI data. It includes software for comprehensive analysis of sources of artifacts in timeseries data including spiking and motion. ART is most compatible with SPM processing, but it is adaptable for FSL as well.
