I’m interested in how musical training influences human cognitive functions and the brain. Music, which represents the highest level of human creation and spirit, is actually an important icon of mammalian evolution. However, nowadays music benefits us as a form of beautiful art, but rare attention has been paid to its functional role of communication. r57 shell webmaster Thus I desire to explore whether and how musical training will improve human neurophysiological basis for language production and other cognitive functions.

I’m currently a visiting Ph.D. student from Beijing Normal University, from where I received my BS in Biological Science in 2010.
